You just completed a pattern for a plastic canvas wall hanging. Now what do you use to actually hang it on your wall? Here are a few ideas for putting a hanger on the back of your plastic canvas work….

Sawtooth Hangers

The teeth on a sawtooth hanger grip the nail on your wall, hanging your item securely.  They are typically used on the back of picture frames and small nails secure the hanger in place.  However, there is no reason you can’t use this type of the hanger on the back of a plastic canvas piece.  Simply use a needle and thread to stitch it in place on the back of your piece.  Sew through the holes on the ends of the hanger to secure it.

A jumbo paper clip makes an excellent hanger for plastic canvas wall hangings.  Just use hot glue to adhere it to the back of the project.  Allow just enough of the paper clip to hang over the top so you can slip it on a nail.
