Each year, I like to make little treats for my kids’ Christmas stockings.  After seeing some embroidered candy cane holders where the candy canes formed the arms and the legs, I was inspired to design some candy cane holders from plastic canvas.  The first one I did was a snowman.  My latest pattern is a Santa candy cane holder.

This Christmas candy cane holder is super fast to make.  I stitched mine while I was watching tv in the evening and it took me a couple of nights to finish.

This is the second pattern in my line of plastic canvas candy cane holders.  The snowman is already available – just click on the next link down on the page to see it.

I plan on stitching up a few more of these candy cane holders  – Mrs. Claus, an Elf, and a Reindeer – in the near future.  I want to give each of my kids one that has a different design.  So watch for those patterns coming soon!
